Hot forging

Hot forging is a manufacturing process which consists in heating a metal bar or wire via induction before forging it. From bar or wire, the metal is heated, sheared, then deformed in several steps between punch and die to reproduce in the final shape to be obtained.

Hot forging allows the manufacture of hollow or solid parts with significant weights and volumes.
