Precision machining

Precision machining consists in removing material from a part in using a precision machine tool (CNC lathe or machining center) to obtain the required final shape.

Mastery of machining techniques enables LISI AUTOMOTIVE to achieve very high precision parts, and combining cold forging with machining allows us to do so economically.

Machining is realised as a second operation on cold or hot forged blanks. These machining operations are carried out on multi-spindle CNC lathes.
