Plastic injection consists in filling a mold with molten material under pressure. Plastic injection molding is a versatile process that can be used to make plastic parts of all shapes, sizes and colors including extremely complex forms. Due to the great variety of materials which can be used in plastic injection molding, appearance and mechanical characteristics of the parts can be adapted to meet the most specific customer’s requirements, such as the use of fibre reinforced plastics, bi-material plastics and metal-plastic ovormoulding. In order to optimize the processes and quality of injection molded parts, LISI AUTOMOTIVE uses robotized handling and assembly systems in combination with the molding machines.
